Refund policy

1. General

AdamBikes is committed to providing high-quality motorcycles and excellent customer service. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures in relation to returns, refunds, and warranty claims.

By completing a purchase with AdamBikes, you confirm that you have read and understood our Terms & Conditions and that any known cosmetic or mechanical issues were disclosed prior to sale.

2. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases Only)

For motorcycles purchased online, customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, in line with consumer regulations.

Conditions of the cooling-off period:

  • The motorcycle must not have been used

  • Zero (0) miles must have been added to the odometer

  • The motorcycle must be returned in the same condition as supplied

Costs:

  • The customer is responsible for the initial delivery charge (if applicable)

  • Any collection or return transport costs are also payable by the customer

AdamBikes does not offer a general return policy outside of this cooling-off period.

3. Warranty & Faulty Goods

All motorcycles sold by AdamBikes include a free 30-day warranty covering mechanical faults arising after purchase.

Warranty process:

  • Any issues must be reported to AdamBikes immediately

  • Customers may be asked to provide a photo of the motorcycle’s current mileage or a video/photo of the issue (if plauisble)

  • AdamBikes will aim to provide a resolution within 5 working days

4. Repairs as First Resolution

Where a valid warranty claim is raised:

  • Repair (undertaken by AdamBikes) is always offered as the first solution

  • AdamBikes will cover the cost of mechanical repairs during the warranty period

If repairs are not possible or not viable, AdamBikes may offer a full refund, subject to the specific circumstances of the case.

5. Refund Conditions

Where a refund is approved:

Online purchases

  • The refund will not include:

    • Initial delivery costs

    • Any collection or return transport charges

In-store purchases

  • The motorcycle must be returned to the store for inspection and/or repair

  • If collection is required, collection charges will apply

AdamBikes are not liable for any third-party costs/losses incurred as a result of a faulty motorbike, and will not issue compensation.

7. Cancellations

Requests for cancellation of orders can be approved within a 48hr period from initial payment. Where an order is placed via the AdamBikes website, any payment processing fees will be deducted from the total refund amount.

For all payments outside the website, a full refund can be issued. After the 48hr period, AdamBikes reserves the right to reject cancellation requests.

7. Exclusions

Refunds or returns may be refused if:

  • Mileage has increased (outside of warranty assessment)

  • Damage has occurred due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs

  • The motorcycle was repaired by third party mechanics without AdamBikes prior approval

  • The issue was disclosed prior to purchase and accepted by the customer
